Mogollon Airpark (AZ82) is having it’s annual Fly-In Pancake Breakfast on Saturday June 19th. On this one day of the year our private airpark is open to the flying public to land among the cool pine forests and enjoy breakfast prepared by the volunteers of EAA chapter 1044.

Guest speaker Bill Gitchell presented a program on the “Beetle Project” building RV-6 planes for the Nigerian Air Force in 1995-1996.

Minutes of the May meeting were approved as published on the website.

Treasurer’s Report was accepted.

Tech Counselor’s Report – Oil Filter Adapter for Lycoming Engine service bulletin has been issued.  He has further information if it might apply to you.

Young Eagles (presented before the program) – There will be approximately 24 Tuskegee Ace Camp kids for the rally this Saturday, June 12.  Volunteer pilots and ground crew are needed.  Dee Grimm will brief pilots at 06:45 with flights to begin at 0700.  Tentative dates for future events have been set as:

I hope everyone has recovered from the holiday weekend. This is your monthly email reminder that EAA 538 has a scheduled meeting tomorrow at 7 pm. Program:

Janet Yonally, daughter of WASP, Lillian Yonally spoke about her mothers experience being a WASP and the Congressional Gold Medals they received on March 11th in Washington DC .

WASP Betty Blake told of her experiences meeting Amelia Earhart, witnessing the attack on Pearl Harbor, owning a P38 and being checked out in 36 types of military aircraft.
