Posted on February 4th, 2010 EAA538 No comments

EAA Chapter 538 is now meeting at the Deer Valley Restaurant at Deer Valley Airport in the Restaurant meeting room. The meeting room is halfway into the restaurant on the left. Look for a door on the left side you go through or ask one of the waiters. Park in the main Deer Valley Airport parking lot (7th Ave and Deer Valley Road) and enter through the restaurant doors on the east side of the terminal building and go straight in to the meeting room. If you enter through the terminal doors on the west side of the terminal building, go right once you are inside the building to the restaurant and then left through the restaurant to the meeting room on the left. See you at 7:00 p.m
If you come early, you can eat, drink or socialize with other members who arrive early.  See you there.

  • Open House (Hanger) before Xmas Potluck

Posted on November 16th, 2009 EAA538 No comments

John Banhagel is having an open house at his hanger (Lucky 13) before the xmas potluck on Dec 5th. His hanger is in the Desert Hangars building, which is the Southern most building of the hangars on the North end of Glendale Muni. “Lucky-13″, faces South and is on the East end of the building closest to the taxiway / runway. One can see the fuel dump / pump station at “Luxaire” from the front of his hangar.  John is thinking of selling the two Europas that he has so if you are interested, ask him about them.
Stop by and say hi before the potluck!
