The lunch will be held at Travis Kenyon&rsquos hangar, which is on the south side of the ramp in front of the GEU Tower, so taxi on up after you finish your last ride. You can also drive to this hangar. The main entrée food will be provided by the Airport Café, with chapter members encouraged to bring side dishes/salads/deserts.Visitors/guests are welcome. |

scheduled EAA Chapter 538 Young Eagle Event for this
school year will be held next Saturday April 8, 2006 at
the Glendale Airport. YOU ARE INVITED! This will be a Very Special Event, as we will use this occasion to hold our 1st Young Eagle Volunteer Appreciation Day lunch, and to conduct the Chapter 538 Spring Meeting. Even if you can&rsquot fly on that day, we want to see you there! This is our way to THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has helped to make our events this year such successes. The flying starts with the Pilot Briefing @ 7:30am at the terminal, and the Young Eagle rides begin @ 8:00am, as usual.Contact Cheri McGunagle or Jim Moss for information. |

Tues. Feb. 10th, 7:00 PM - EAA chapter 538 is having a special presentation from Luke AFB at its monthly meeting. Chapter member Ed Daror says "As to the Luke presentation, it is of great interest to all who fly in this area. It has to do with the high potential of midair collision, just west of DVT and also south of Luke. It will be presented at our next meeting on Feb. 10th by Major Jason White, Luke AFB Flight Safety Officer and F-16 Pilot and Instructor. It will be open to questions.
